美国服装设计师协会CFDA颁布了09年大奖，年度女装设计师被Rodarte的Kate和Laura Mulleavy姐妹获得，稍后FTD会有介绍Rodarte的相关文章。年度男装设计师奖项被Band of Outsiders的Scott Sternberg和Calvin Klein Collection的Italo Zucchelli分享。配件设计师的获得者是Proenza Schouler的Jack McCollough和Lazaro Hernandez，该品牌受邀在近日佛罗伦萨Pitti展上展示10 Resort早春系列，而品牌设计师Jack McCollough还被一位好莱坞明星打伤而闹出纠纷。

年度女装设计新人是众望所归的Alexander Wang，而男装设计新人奖的获得者是刚推出女装系列的Tim Hamilton。

终身成就奖的获得者是刚到上海参加风尚大典并获特别贡献奖的Anna Sui，国际大奖由Marc Jacobs为Louis Vuitton获得，而最值得称道的是第一夫人Michelle Obama获得评委会特别贡献大奖，CFDA的意图很明确，请第一夫人多穿自家人衣服吧。
